52 arrested by Ontario police in Mexican Mafia bust

Ontario police, Drug Enforcement Administration agents and U.S. Attorney's Office personnel have arrested 52 people, including 27 on Wednesday morning, in a sweep targeting the Mexican Mafia and Ontario gangs.

The arrests culminated a 17-month investigation. Twenty-five suspects had already been arrested. Eight area gang members are still outstanding.

The arrested are being taken to a federal holding facility in Riverside.
