Wet weather brings out ticks, dry weather brings fleas.
When I was a Kid, I heard something about tieing a sheet arond Your neck, and taking a stroll though the woods, letting the sheet follow behind, it seems for every tick that jumps for You, about 1 in 10 actually hit Their mark, and the sheet had 100's of them on it.
