On May 1, the passionate illegal immigration supporters in Oxnard were largely decked out in red and black, organized by the United Farm Workers, and were for the most part, willing to discuss the merits of legalizing millions of undocumented folks.

Do FERPA laws (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act) really prevent schools from asking about immigration status? I can't tell.
