LA Scrambles For Pork Before Brown's Threatened Cutoff
Wow! over 3/4 of a Billion earmarked quickly in case Brown follows through on the redevelopment agency cutoff. I used to refer to these people as swine, and their feed as pork, but that may be a misnomer. Pigs are usually too stupid to think far enough ahead to predict a future starvation. These people are calculating con artists.

Redevelopment money is being sucked back by the state at an alarming rate. Many towns are seeing projects left incomplete as the money is being taken back. As long as the money has not been spent yet, the state can reclaim it. The state expects the cities to pony up the funds to complete the projects themselves through their own townsmen, or volunteers. This is something that many don't quite understand because they still believe the money allocated is still there in their coffers.
LA is in deep trouble, but does that surprise anyone? You can't build a town out of low grade material and expect it to withstand what's coming. They did it to themselves. Now let's watch them cannibalize themselves. |
