OK,
The law says thou shall not drive while inebriated. It also says thou shall have a license of the appropriate classification for the vehicle being driven. It applies whether one is a resident of Maywood or Hollywood Hills. The article alleges racism due to the fact that more people are found driving without a license than driving while inebriated in certain neighborhoods. And the point is? If it were me, the white guy, there would probably be more legal ramifications and consequences than a mere walk home. And to tow the vehicle of an unlicensed driver stopped in a certain part of town is racist? I've also seen mothers with children removing stuff from the trunk before the walk. It strikes at my protectional instinct as a man, but what is the real difference? The driver was AN UNLICENSED DRIVER IN VIOLATION OF THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE.

Unbelievable. They are whining about drivers being caught without driver's licenses. Amazing isn't it? The problem is so bad that operations that had absolutely no intention of catching unlicensed illegal immigrant drivers can't avoid doing just that.

More evidence of the caste system being implemented in the US.
The ruling caste. The illegal alien caste. And at the bottom, the American, tax paying, indentured servant class. Only one group is obligated to comply with the law. Those on the bottom.

we've had a thread on this before, and I'll remind everyone that a huge portion of unlicensed drivers caught up in vehicle siezures are those who had their licenses revoked for child support debts. I volunteered to observe one of these checkpoints a couple years back and I sat for hours watching the process. Not that many were dui, but the ones' that were may have saved a life or three. Lots and lots of siezures for unlicensed drivers, and many had their licenses revoked for previous DUI, speeding, or other violations, but chose to drive without it.
