True, people get tired of any new device eventually but the iPad in schools and colleges could really help students. But this is the same as laptops in schools although the iPad would be easier to carrier (harder to write/type with I'd imagine).
Didn't Steve Jobs announce that he was sick already? He has a step-in CEO already.
