Good to know that are government is coming down hard on one illegal after a 25 year long criminal career, and 9 deportations. At least we now know what it takes to get an illegal entrant sent to the pen.

In sentencing Torres, Judge Garcia found that Torres had obstructed justice by giving perjured testimony during a subsequent evidentiary hearing by submitting fraudulent documents to the court, including a falsified United States birth certificate.

In addition to his prior deportations, Torres has a 25-year criminal record, including convictions for second-degree assault with a knife, hit-and-run driving, drug trafficking and driving under the influence, officials said.
