The world really is a different place than it was 30-40 years ago. Back then, he would have come off sounding like so many no-neck bigots running around back then. Now he just sounds sensible.
The Obamination made "change" a theme of his candidacy for presidency. But he was way behind the times. We already got the "change" he was pimping a long time ago. His voters were fueled on nostalgia, not what actually has been happening.
