Most unfortunate news,

I was just informed by Governor Brown's office that he declined to sign the Border Patrol flag used in this event so we could give it to Agent Rosas's family. I must admit I wasn't getting my hopes to high on the request from the start, but now it has been confirmed. They said I could retrieve the flag tomorrow.

I have only communicated with Agent Rosas's sister, so as not to convey any false hopes to his widow and kids, so I will be emailing her shortly as well.

Sorry everyone. We tried :(

It would be too much to hope for in this left leaning state to have a gov that has respect for our Border Agents.
