Default Some very sad news

It saddens me to inform you that I was just told that Terry Anderson passed away today. He died of cancer.

I heard the same and that is exceptionally sad news.

I barely knew the guy. What I also know is what I saw of how he conducted himself and his sense of purpose and righteousness. That gentleman was what Cornell West would have referred to as a truth teller.

Rest in peace, Terry. Of what little I saw of your life, it was indeed well spent and your efforts were considerable.

If anyone knows something about funeral arrangements, please pass them on. I'd like to go pay my respects.

Thanks for the follow up. I was hoping against hope that it was another Terry Anderson that died. He was a great voice in a great cause. It is never easy to measure any given person's influence, but I assessed him as among the most influential people in the fight for America. He was also among the most authentically talented people I ever heard on the radio. He not only had his own weekly show, but guest hosted Roger Hedgecock and other shows. He was very good on the air.

His was among the few endeavors I supported financially, in my own modest way. This news is very disturbing. How did this happen so suddenly?
