Default House of Representatives sends a strong message to Senate.

The House of Representatives sent a strong message to the Senate yesterday. They passed a symbolic message condemning Obama's unlawful disregard of enforcing immigration law in regard to illegal aliens that were brought to the USA a children.

It's widely thought that "Dream act" illegals garner the most sympathy and support in regards to amnesty, this is a rejection of support for the "Dream act".
If the House of Representatives sends a message of no support for the Dream act do the Senators really think they will support a larger amnesty that is much more controversial and unpopular?

The message is a strong NO.

Will Senators hear this message and ditch the larger Gang of Eight amnesty bill because they see the futility of it's passage, or will this encourage the passage of the Gang's bill as another symbolic message?

I believe Republicans leaning to a yes vote on the amnesty bill will not want to risk further alienating their base for something that the House has just shown it will not pass.

Is this just wishful thinking on my part, what do you think.

There hasn't been much news lately that I am aware of concerning congress and illegal immigration.

However Republicans are believing that immigration issues are their problem with Hispanic voters while the real problem concerning Hispanic voters is the perception that white racism is endemic to the Republican party.

This directly relates to self appointed squeaky wheel Latino activist bigots yelling about immigration in public while haranguing the brown population with "the white man is out to get YOU" propaganda.
