Fellow Veterans and Friends of Veterans:

Tomorrow, a new day dawns for America's Veterans who have been protesting the abuse and misuse of the sacred land at the Los Angeles National Veterans Home.

Tomorrow, the ACLU is holding a major press conference to announce they are suing the VA for violating our First Amendment Rights to protest the abuse and misuse of Veterans land.

Tomorrow is very important .... Please show up!

ACLU/SC to Sue Veterans Administration for Denying Free Speech Rights to Veteran

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The ACLU of Southern California will hold a press conference tomorrow to announce it is filing a free-speech lawsuit on behalf of a 67-year-old Army veteran who has been protesting land-use policies by the Veterans Administration at the VA facility in west Los Angeles for more than a year.

Although the U.S. Attorney’s Office last year dismissed five citations against Robert Rosebrock for displaying the U.S. flag upside down, VA police recently resumed their campaign of selective enforcement against him depending on how he displays the flag during his protests.

The press conference will take place Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., in front of gates to VA park on the northeast side of San Vicente Boulevard, ˝ block north of intersection of Wilshire and San Vicente (west of I-405).

For more information, please see press advisory attached.

Good job Glory. I know how hard so many of you have worked to save the VA land. I hope the news coverage will help the Veterans. Governmant only uses them while they are young and healthy and after retirement they are kicked aside. Veterans Affairs should be ashamed, so should Henry Waxman, the only thing he is good for is to keep a chair seat warm.
