For one thing, this woman decided to have four children with this criminal so I see no reason why Americans have to make her life decisions more comfortable.

But, there's no way for him to become legal? Really? He's a criminal, independent of being here illegally. He's committed some kind of crime that would prevent him from ever achieving legal status. Her husband is exactly the kind of person we do not want here.

Keep their family together, deport the lot of them.

The demand is, of course, a natural extrapolation, that legalization of otherwise law abiding people isn't good enough. If this woman is to be helped, we must also legalize all criminals.
