I think here's where the problem lies, the USBP is Fed, ICE is Fed, so if Mc Cain, and his Cohorts actually do put some Troops/National Guard on the Border, They'll probably just get orders to keep on ignoring the Trespassers.
If The Border States put Their Own law enforcement on the line, I think They'd do a better job, but Who's going to foot the bill?
I think that the States should bill the Feds for this, but I'm sure They'll try to weasle Their way out of it.
But then with the recent uprise in violence, perhaps They may be forced to take some form of action.
