Progress, definitely. But we won't see victory until they can do the same thing on the streets, long before they commit a second crime.

When illegal immigrants taste real day to day fear of law enforcement on the streets, then we will see an end to illegal immigration.

Sonoma county's a sanctuary county, and if a Prisoner is found as an illegal, they'll be marched right across the street to the Health & Human Service Dept. for perks.
I've spent almost the last 4 years there, and The law will do ANYTHING to NOT enforce the law.
To the South, Marin County, They've been doing a check for the past few years, yet releases Them anyways, even with an "INS Hold", so I really don't see anything serious as deportation happening in Sonoma any time soon.

As a matter of fact, a Child molester (illegal) was give token few months as punishment this week, an American would have recieved years for the same crime.

Default Cry Me a river...

This "new" approach at alerting ICE/INS has caused quite a stir in poor lil' Sanctuary-Sonoma County, heres from a day, or so front page of the Pressdemocrap.

This paper's has started a new well-censored comments section, plus One has to register, so leaving a comment is almost a waste of time, They actually banned all comments for the past few weeks because of all of the recent illegal Alien crimes, rapes, and all of the wonderfull things that come along with being a sanctuary County.

But this Guy's opinion put a new spin on the old "$5 lettuce" line...now it's "You won't have any lettuce on Your hamburger"...haha...

Ah, let the whining begin;

It's about time we get some local enforcement, and acknowledgement that these people are tresspassing against US citizens and legally present workers. I think we should all contact the sheriff and thank him for his participation.

So now the Sheriff has to "explain" the new policy....jeez.

Here's a good bit from todays PD story:
"Since its inception, Kice wrote in an e-mail, the program has identified “more than 18,000 aliens charged with or convicted of Level 1 crimes, such as murder, rape and kidnapping — 4,000 of whom have already been removed from the United States.”

It's a drop in the bucket really. So they are only arresting those that commit serious crimes such as murder, rape, etc...
Somehow the feds feel that crimes that affect the native population only....driving unlicensed, identity theft, drunk driving(we need more customers for alcohol to prop up our economy) are too petty to spend their money on. Yes...I called it their money. That's what it is when the bureaucracy gets our money.
