Default Dispute Over Best Mexican State Claims Bystander

The headline actually needs to say "third world scum degrade California city".
But in the interest of details, the fight over which state in mexico is best ends up claiming a abystander who was in the vicinity, Imagine that....arguing over such a ridiculous concept. That's like arguing over which garbage can has the best scavengings

And this is a culture we're suppose to embrace, but if you say anything against it you're called a racist, bigot etc. This must be why they have so may babies, because half will get shot or killed so they have extras.

Wow, Lupe sure has her hand full dealing with Santa Ana.

Actually you always make reference to third world primitives. A noteworthy difference. I am always left wondering if you believe everyone from third world nations are primitive and unacceptable. I referenced these particular group of assailants as scum from the third world, however I do know that not everyone from third world nations are scum.
Those people in our government who have been pulling the immigration strings have exhibited a penchant for attracting scum from the third world. But then again, they also partner up with native born scum too.

...Witnesses told officers an argument broke out between two groups of men inside the restaurant, but the victim was not involved in the argument, Colon said.

"Apparently they were arguing over which state in Mexico was better," Colon said.

Following the argument, some of the men walked out to the parking lot and got into a fistfight, Colon said, adding that the victim stayed in the restaurant with his wife and was not involved in the fight.

Colon said the victim and his friends decided to leave before things escalated, but as the victim got into his car, two men approached him on foot, brandished a handgun and fired several shots.

The victim was struck in the head, Colon said. His wife was not injured.

The attackers ran to an waiting vehicle, described as an SUV, and drove away...

The article doesn't mention nationality either, these could have been American citizen gang bangers who might not have a real knowledge of Mexico beyond visiting relatives several times who got into a very stupid argument over where their grand parents originated.

It probably involved an unhealthy dose of alcohol as well, which evolved into "lead poisoning". Booze never help solve an inconsequential disagreement which may have never been entered into in the first place otherwise.

On the other hand, I had an interesting conversation with a Mexican woman yesterday morning. Part of it, unsolicited by myself, had to do with Mexicans who come here and commit crimes and do stupid stuff which makes everyone one else look bad. Again unsolicited, she put down the ones who come here and suck up welfare while working jobs under other names.

There are all kinds of people, and making all brown people with Spanish last names into the same person is like making all white people with northern European ancestry the same person - it ain't so.

Is there really any doubt that this was gang related? Nobody else cares enough about states in Mexico to shoot somebody over it. But the press says nothing. Move along, nothing to see here.

Another thought:

Maybe the shooters weren't involved with the argument at all and the argument and fist fight were coincidental to the shooting.

Mistaken identity, score to settle, initiation rite, or just plain random murder of a stranger for the "fun" of it.

A fist fight was going on while an SUV was waiting...
