Default Salinas, CA Sinks Into 3d World Barbarism

LA Times Op Ed piece about the plight of Salinas, CA. Usual stuff. Mexicans dispossess Americans and you have academic failure, gangs, drugs, kids shooting each other....

According to the story: "All of the homicide victims in Salinas last year were Latino males, most of them still in their teens. A 15-year-old died just outside the back gate to Alisal High School; a 14-year-old was shot to death near Hartnell College."

One good thing. Now that all the Americans have been run out of their own town, the Mexicans can only kill each other...just like in their home country.

And do you know whose fault it is? It's the fault of dirty rotten Gringos who don't pay enough taxes to fund "after school" activities so that the Mexicans won't shoot each other. Another American city lost forever.

My Brother was murdered in a gang initiation in Salinas, the authorities did'nt bother inverstigating the case, and I found out more about the case/Perpatraitors by posting for info on Monterey Co. Craigslist.

And I also noticed how there's -0- comments on this story as well.

CB.

There is one comment, as follows:

"This is the town they made for themselves. They chased out everyone who disagreed with their dragging the town down. Most left California period. These people have no one to blame but themselves, and throwing more money at the situation isn't going to change anything. They brought this with them and now they can live with it."

This has touched so many of us so deeply in so many different ways.

Please accept my condolences for your loss.

CB I am so sorry for your loss. This may have been preventable if our immigration laws had been enforced.

A few short years ago I was on my way up to Northern California when I had some car trouble. I stopped in Salinas to go to a car parts store and was utterly shocked by the Mexican ghetto look that the town had taken.

It was unacceptable to me then and now. You could smell the trouble brewing.
