Kellar is a proud American

He has proved this many times over during his lifetime. Councilman Kellar served honorably in the United States Army in Vietnam while “in country” carrying an M-16 rifle in harm’s way. He repeated his patriotic duty by joining the Los Angeles Police Department, completing 30 years of service on the streets of Los Angeles. I have known Sgt. Kellar for the past 40 years and while working with him many years on the LAPD I never ever observed him acting in racist communication with any minority contacts, on or off the job. He was always decent, kind and respectful.
