Bill clinton actually legalized about 1 million probable votes for himself just prior to the election. I don't know what goes on in florida, but I doubt we're getting the truth from anyone yet. The problem as I see it is that people are encouraged every possible way to vote, but there's little education about when you shouldn't, meaning if you are not a US citizen. You get the registration pitch at DMV, at the welfare office, on the streets, in the schools...everywhere. Holder wants to keep the floodgates open without checks and balances. Most states have registrars who follow that line of thinking, and purging any voters, even those who haven't voted in 20 years, and even if it would free up money to spend on improving the system entirely, is just too much of a risk. The risk being that the electorate will find out just how corrupt and wasteful the system is. You know what the consequences are over an electorate that loses faith in the elections process is? revolt becomes more likely. By the way, this case came up this week also. a petition to force the county registrar to accept a voter registration. The county registrar recently investigated a case where they said a company backed by republicans was changing registrations without people's consent. Yeah...like the democrats haven't done that here also. But this voter made a big deal out of that to toss the issue back in her face: MAY IT PLEASE THIS HONORABLE COURT: NOW COMES THOMAS L.
