I disagree. Even amnesty is just amnesty. They will have to actually do something with it. Anything they actually do with it will be limited by the arguments they make for it. This is nothing like the medical bill. Hardly anyone knew what they were talking about when they pitched for it and even with them making a big scene about how they passed it, hardly anyone knows what they got.

Amnesty is pretty simple. They have to make arguments for why and how and everyone will be able to understand the consequences. Remember, we've already had an amnesty under the Republicans. This is what we got, more demands for amnesty from a far worse problem population.

Even if they get amnesty, they will have to do something with it and everybody will be able to see what that is. The points of resistance to it will be right in front of everyone's face for the rest of this cockroach's term. Increased alienation from the US public is not free.
