I took a short opportunity to inspect the local HD's and the Sac DLC for activity this morning. While the DLC is less than average, the HD's have come way up. All of them. there's a lot more population at all, where some had none, and others had a little. Now they are chock full.
An interesting thing happened while I was parked at one HD. One of the DL's came over to voice his displeasure that I was filming. He said he knew me from the DLC area, and I said that was understandable because that's my neighborhood. He also said he witnessed the rock throwing incidents, and thought that was not helping things. He also said they were not getting work.
i knew there was an effort to disperse the DL's to keep them from being noticed as much, and that's why they are at HD's that previously had none. I was not attacked today, although I was prepared for it when they came over. I'll have some video and pics up later. I think, but I'm not sure I may have captured the conversation with the DL's on the camera. my laptop is down for the weekend, and I'm borrowing for now, so things will be a little slower than normal.
One thing that is really evident is the volumne of unlicensed businesses patronizing HD. Lots of them, and predominantly hispanic.
