We've heard this before and I mostly agree except on a couple of points.

Again, no illegal immigrant should be allowed to "self deport". Policing our borders means policing traffic in both directions across the border. The only legal traffic across our borders is across legal entry and exit points. We need to include allowing illegals to leave as the only amnesty that anti-illegals can tolerate.

The other thing is that it is way past time to realize that this country as a "nation of immigrants" is what has got us to the current problem. We need to repent the idea that immigration as it has existed has done anything to contribute to our society. It hasn't done anything except make illegal immigration worse. Illegal immigration is not a recent problem, but started with the huge tide of legal immigration at the previous turn of the century.
