Agriculture does seem to play a dominant role. But it's the worse kind of agriculture. It's stuff nobody really needs. Just condiments, extras, fruits and vegetables. In Italy it is oranges. Are oranges really worth having an alien population just move in squat somewhere and cause trouble? I don't think so.
And also organized crime is playing a role. Like in the US, we are obliged to believe that this illegals are sending money back to their home countries. But meanwhile, they had to pay some gangster to get here. They are not continuing to pay some gangster and lie about sending money back home?
