SOS radio will host a special broadcast on Monday June 27, 2011 at 7PM PST
in order to explore the situation at Bear Middle school, Big Bear California.
In 2010 a young lady approx thirteen years of age wearing a "Mexico" T-shirt entered into a dispute with a young male of the same age. Their teacher intervened and all seemed resolved until......the next school board meeting.
Present at the meeting were the girl, her mother and LULAC. LULAC a pro-illegal immigration group, advised the board that the girl's rights had in some way been violated and that the board was going to have to rectify the situation. Joining LULAC were MALDEF and MAPA. In a number of board meetings anti-illegal immigration advocates Ray Herrera and Robin Vhidston of We The people California's Crusaders were present to counter the claims made by the pro-illegal organizations. At this point in time the Principal of the school, who had little to do with the situation is being replaced by the board as an apparent conciliatory gesture towards LULAC, MaLDEF and MAPA. Her last day will be June 30, 2011 as a Principal. Parents are trying to recall the board members for their actions.
