Niland, Calif. - Border Patrol agents from El Centro, Calif. yesterday arrested a suspected narcotics smuggler and seized more than four pounds of methamphetamine concealed within the vehicle.The incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m., when Border Patrol agents encountered a 48-year-old male driving a white 2006 Chevrolet Silverado as he approached the Highway 111 checkpoint located near Niland, Calif.
