For example, what is the "traditional" immigration level and if that was such a good thing, then why has it brought us to the current pathological state? And also note that they suggest returning to this is desirable, but won't bring us back to what we could have achieved if we had maintained actual "traditional" immigration levels.
Notice also the propped up terms "carbon footprint" and "green space". And notice also the ommision of illegal immigration as an issue in the problem of legal immigration.
We need a realistic confrontation with the problem along with a complete historical reappraisal of the benefits of what passes as "traditional" immigration levels.
