Several things here...

Since when did LEOs have police lights and sirens mounted on personal vehicles? That is a violation of the law right there, and the Banning stooges didn't at least issue a citation or make an arrest for a personal vehicle decked out like that along with the driver making plain clothed, off duty stops?

The Banning Police Department, in my estimation, is the place where reject cops get hired when they can't buy a job anywhere else. The last stop before living in one's car.

This could have happened. Border Patrol agents are LEO's, and I read all the time about LEOs who are child molesters, armed robbers, murderers, involved in the drug trade and a whole host of other crimes. Hardly a week goes by without a newspaper article about a cop who's been arrested and facing the prospect of doing time.

It does seem like the guy was up to something. However, the woman may have added a false fondling allegation for good measure to get back at a jerk.

Then Banning race obsessionist Al Lopez (director of the San Gorgonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce) spins an allegation of a budding, opportunistic LEO sexual predator into a broad racial issue and carries on as though Arturo H. Ascencio's activities define Border Patrol Policies.

Bizzarre all the around.
