Backers of Arizona law on immigration plan rally
A group of coalitions supporting Arizona's new immigration law will hold a High Desert sunset rally at 6 p.m. Saturday in front of the Petsmart shopping center, 19011 Bear Valley Road , according to a news release from Raymond Herrera, founder and president of We The People, California's Crusader.
Herrera is encouraging supporters of the law to write thank-you cards to Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer and sign a petition to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder protesting the Justice Department lawsuit seeking invalidation of the Arizona law.
