This is BS. No child not born of
two US citizens should be granted birthright citizenship and that child must be born in one of the United States of America. According to this bill, it is not even necessary for either parent to be a US citizen, all they have to do is be in the country legally. And furthermore, the bill should leave no doubt in anyone's mind that it is anything but a clarification of what should have been going from the beginning. It should leave open the possibility of being retroactive.
