Mexicans get free health care in Mexico . It just takes days to see a doctor but the meds are cheap for them to buy and they have to pay for it.The only reason they get it free here is because they are here illegally. If they went home they would get it for free there.. They also get extremely low cost dental care if they have money and if not its free too.Its more of an access problem then a money problem in Mexico.They need more doctors and clinics but since its socialized medicine , no one wants to be a doctor there as they don't make very much money from the government. Dentists are very few also. My friend whose husband is a dentist in Mazatlan says hes sees 50 patients a day sometimes and makes less than a quarter even with exchange rates that a dentist in the US would. But they still get their teeth fixed for free. On weekends he takes in US citizens who will pay and get a great deal on having their teeth done just so they can pay for their house. It is all run buy the government and they get their cut.
