Below it we will display Arizona's newly drafted law, and offer a declaration in support of it with opportunity for all to sign. There will also be a display in tribute to Border Patrol and other sworn officers who have fallen to to foriegn invasion on the southern borders of California and Arizona.

This event will be open to associates and associated groups. If your group/organization would like to host the event for an hour or two during the day, you may display your banner and distribute your material during that time.

That sounds GREAT. I watched Villar and some people of the First AME Church in LA today screaming about our brothers and sisters. I could not believe it. I hope thousands will show up.

Support Arizona!

I do support Arizona, but I will support them even more in getting rid of John McCain. I do have a hard time swallowing some of what I hear coming out of AZ while they keep electing Mr. Amnesty over and over, but I know there are patriots there who are victims of that too.

So, THEY have my unyielding support!!

In the meantime, we (in Nevada) are doing what we can to get rid of Harry Reid. So, AZ DITCH McCain and we'll get rid of Harry.

Two down - about 400 to go!

We're back on for this one!

Thursday, July 8th 2010

We're also looking for co-conspirators for the event.

SOS will supply the spot, and under our banner other groups may sport their groups name and similar agenda. What we're hoping for is that similarly minded organizations/groups will man the booth so-to-speak for one or two hours each. If your org/group wants to participate, please contact us here or via email

Just to remind everyone that I will be at the state capitol tomorrow hosting this event. Although I have no confirmation from anyone else, I'm still hopeful that I may have some company.

Rim05 07-07-2010 07:18 AM

I hope you get some help for tomorrow. Sac is so far from me and I don't know anyone is Sac.

The way things are happening these days, everyone who cares just a bit better get out there and do something, other wise the end is near.

LAPhil 07-07-2010 02:32 PM

Have you called Chelene? :D (Sorry, couldn't resist). I'd be there if I could but I can't get away on a weekday right now.

Wow! Long day in the sun or me. Dawes also stayed most of the day. He's bailed me out an many of these events that way over the years.
We erected the flagpole around 8, and raised the flags around 9. The legislature is out of seession, but the capitol still generated a lot of people throughout the day. You'll see a picture of leading senator Daryl Steinberg above. I spoke at him, and he acknowledged me, but kept their distance from us while reviewing the display.
Several people came from long distances (bay area) to see the event. I remember a couple of them from prior events throughout the year.
Many people signed our pledge, and we got a lot of support from those willing to take the heat for doing so. Gotta remember that this is the capitol, and may people that work there are wearing the golden handcuffs. I'd say there again is a lot of silent support.
Not too many detractors either. One latino guy said I chood get a real chob, man. No fingers, but a noticable amount of thumbs up. I only saw 2 thumbs down the whole day.
One guy we spoke with is running against John Garamendi for congress. He used to be a state worker in the Folsom prison, and dealt with releasing the inmates, illegal's included. We learned a little about that.
The flagpole performed flawlessly, although we had some twisting of the halyard at first.

The bad news though is that I got a parking tickee for staying 2 hours in a 1 hour zone, event though I paid the meter. Parking in the lot was 18.00 for 6 hours. I also got a fairly decent sunburn going, and I broke my front bridge. That last one is going to be financially painful, as well as affect the beauty index for a while.

I got some video too, but I'm on lack of sleep and sore muscles, so I'll post them tomorrow.
The accomplishment was that we took our flag and planted it in enemy territory all day long. The first trick is to let 'em know we're back, and next we'll start tellin 'em to move over and make room for our input

Twoller 07-08-2010 08:33 PM

I imagined there would be more people. But I've been there many times where there were huge crowds of people.

Thanks to all who showed up.

Rim05 07-08-2010 08:58 PM

Gee, it really is difficult to get people out for anything any more.
I thank both of you from the bottom of my heart for your days work.
THE FLAGS LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL. GREAT JOB.

Dawes 07-09-2010 08:19 AM

Thanks! AG for putting on this event. It was worth it just yelling at Steinberg (weasel).

Yes, it was very hot. Actually the crowd in Sacramento, altogether, was the lightest I have seen.

I think hitting a high traffic area, with some shade, and free parking, would be of interest to many supporters from way out of town. Also, A lot of families are out of town on vacation.

We did have people that came from Missouri, that supported the AZ law, sign our petition.

Strange......No goons, present. I guess the socialists are on vacation too.

Yes Rimo to both statements you made. Sometimes you wonder why they've dropped the ball, but then again, maybe if it were a baseball they'd be a bit more interested.

Thanks to AG and Dawes for continuing to do the jobs so many aren't doing.

I've been defamed! Well, either I have or Dan Amato (DiggersRealm) has,

During our event at the State Capitol, one Lilly Fuentes interviewed us and snapped a pic. I ran a search for it using my usual robotics, but nothing turned up, so I just chalked it up to the usual liberal media not wanting to give any press to immigration law enforcement proponents. But as it were, the robot failed because I searched for my name, Troy's name, and SOS. We were in the paper though, but under Digger's name, Dan Amato.

Couldn't tell you why; His name never came up in conversation, nor was it on any of our printed media. Musta bin sum stoopid airor or intentional diversion.

In any case, One or both of us will have to live with the shame of being identified as the other. Click on the pic for caption:
