No; it's still quite dead. That camera was bought in 2004. since then it has been used thoroughly, and has survived numerous assaults during which it suffered many impacts. Add to that the normal jostling, exposure to the elements, etc. This latest problem is hardly the first. The frame is cracked in several places, the viewfinder has been glued together, and the lens is getting blurry.
Really, I got enormous use from it. It's just worn out in addition to injury

Can't help but notice that a lot of the jeering at us came in waves. probably from more liberal schools.:D
