Border Patrol in El Centro Thwarts Two Separate Smuggling Attempts
 

Salton City, Calif. - On Wednesday, El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to Indio Station intercepted two separate narcotics smuggling attempts at the Highway 86 checkpoint near Salton City, Calif. Both incidents yielded approximately 66 pounds of marijuana in the first arrest, and 9 pounds of methamphetamine in the second. (more)
