Ron Paul gets an F grade from Numbers USA

Numbers USA just reduced Ron paul's grade to an F. For a comparison Numbers USA gives Obama an F-.

Apparently Ron Paul is saying in his new book that "you can't deport them all", so we need some type of legalization for illegal aliens. Numbers USA also says Paul is against E verify and is for increased legal immigration.

I got a letter from Tom Tancredo last week saying that Ron Paul is back peddling and is starting to embrace an amnesty policy.

I was looking forward to supporting Ron Paul for President, but now I am not sure. I trust and rely on Tom Tancredo and Numbers USA a lot.

What do you think about Numbers USA recent grade reduction for Ron Paul?

Do you think Ron Paul is starting to embrace an open borders policy?

Ron Paul has more of a history as a libertarian than as a republican. He only took on the border security issue for a short time, and probably because he came to the realization that congress would not embrace the entire libertarian strategy that would remove incentive for people to come here. His theory was that if you took the bennies away, the flow of people would decrease, and thus no need for enforcement.
I like a lot of what he says, but I also think he's thoroughly misguided on the border/enforcement issue. I also don't believe he has a chance in hell of getting anywhere in the next election.

I should have added, that hard core libertarians are Open borders proponents.

not all hardcore libertarians are. usually that's the same crowd who are just crypto-anarchists. anyhow, I'll support Dr. Paul again. If nothing else, repealing all gun control would really help those of us who want to defend our homes and / or homeland. Not like illegal gangs obey or respect the laws.

Yes, yes we can. We can deport them all. We can, we should and we will too.

I am not sure Ron Paul couldn't get the Rebublican nomination or ellected. I saw on Drudge a few days ago that in a recent Gallop poll Paul had the best chance of all the current Republican challengers to defeat Obama.

Every one knows that he has a strong following, some might even call it a "cult" following.

I am wondering if he has recently gotten some important mega power backing, and thus in repayment of that backing he recently become pro amnety or more open borders, in repayment of that backing.

I was really allarmed by Numbers USA recent downgrade to Pauls grade to an F. I think that they might be on to something.

They may be. Numbers USA is probably the most "tuned in" to the legislative process among all the immigration control groups. The republicans still have nobody to run. I cannot believe that turd huckabee is back, and tendering his fraudulent resume again. The republicans better do some serious soul searching before they try and cram someone like him down the electorate throat. Unless they want to further erode confidence in them

Hey Guys !

I know that Ron Paul was very popular here among many. So I zipped it up. But truthfully I was never a strong supporter of him. He had a couple of positions that were completely unrealistic and detrimental. Even though he also had some positions that I applauded and strongly supported.

His idea that we can't deport all of them is something that I do not agree with. However, he is no dummy. There are two premises:

!. He may have rolled over to pander for the Latino vote.

2. He may actually understand, and realize, the pitfalls of sending all illegal aliens home.

We cannot deport all. Some countries refuse to take them.

Many Mexicans are "be backs" they simply sneak across again the next day, over and over.

Mexicans and Guatemalans that we deport will join the cartels and pack bundles across in droves.

Let' recognize that deportees will not simply pile up in despicable hovels on the outskirts of cities and towns.

From a realistic view the world is becoming seriously over populated. These migrant problems are seen all over the world in many countries. It is future shock. It will get much worse over the decades. I won't be around to see it but my grand children will.

Not to be pessimistic and down but the original indigenous native Americans saw it in their time. Enough said.
