This article:

http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/economic-black-hole-20-reasons-why-the-u-s-economy-is-dying-and-is-simply-not-going-to-recover

appears to me to have some sound, basic, credible logic that is absolutely frightening-highly disturbing.

The economy just isn't going to recover in the long term.

After carefully contemplating all of the elements and recalling the many factors over the years that put us in this hole we are in, and considering the shift in politics and attitudes in the USA year by year, I cannot help but believe that we really are seeing the continuation of a slide into the abyss which the author calls a black hole.

I don't attribute the dilemma to just one cause, rather at least three:

* Stupidity.

* The attitude of the liberal, socialist left.

* Deliberate intent to wreck the economy, undermine the dollar and disable the political structure.

I'm not much on conspiracy theories but it is difficult to ignore much of what is occurring in the current administration.

The global population has reached a critical saturation point. We are running out of basic resources. Like space.

I think there are a lot of forces at work here,

Some want to ripple a large portion of the economy, but not the portion that they rely on. Another factor is that the left wants to deprive the what they percieve as the "rich" of the monetary tool so as to limit their ability to conduct thier campaigns and hold power. The rich always resort to hunkering down and keeping their wealth in times where profits are slim and investments are risky. Unfortunately, the majority of us are stuck in the crossfire, and are being deprived of our input. To have input, you either must possess wealth or power. The middle class power base was divided by politics, and their wealth was curbed by economics because they don't earn or save like the rich
