Group visit to the office of Congressmen Buck McKeon on:
Thursday, April 10th at 11:00 AM

Address: 26650 The Old Road Suite 203, Valencia, CA 91381
Purpose: To Hold Congressmen McKeon’s feet to the fire.

Back ground:
Congressmen McKeon is retiring from Congress at the end of this year and has become increasingly bad on amnesty and issues pertaining to illegal immigration. Although McKeon’s past record on illegal immigration was quite good, it changed very drastically about a year ago and Congressmen McKeon has been avoiding Constituents for over a year now.
Last August at an invitation only setting in Simi Valley California, McKeon revealed his newly changed views on immigration policy. In that speech McKeon laid out his support for blanket amnesty for illegal aliens, and stated quote: “We need to legalized everybody”

At the beginning of the linked speech, you will hear McKeon illustrate his appreciation for Jeb Bush's views on immigration policy. It should be noted that Jeb Bush recently stated that he considers illegal immigration to be “an act of love”.

Recently a quiet push was initiated in the House to insert a version of the “Dream Act” into a defense authorization bill that is overseen by Congressmen McKeon, and McKeon remained silent for three days as to whether or not he would allow this amnesty into the defense authorization bill.
Although Congressmen McKeon is 76 years old he is still extremely driven by the profit, and the benefits that come from being in a safe Republican seat. In the recent past McKeon gained notoriety by funneling $238,438 to his wife from his campaign funds, as well as getting caught accepting special “VIP- friends of Angelo” loans from Country Wide Financial.

McKeon is retiring from Congress in nine months and because of that, he might feel that he need not be concerned with any negative repercussions that would come from betraying his constituents. It is plausible that this situation will make him increasingly open to accepting lucrative post Congress payoffs and positions if he is willing to compromise and vote for or allow legislation, such as amnesty for illegal aliens.

“Comprehensive Immigration Reform “ has a window of opportunity is closing fast, and it’s vast and powerful network of supporters will be increasingly desperate and driven to look for any window of opportunity to insert any type of unseen amnesty or immigration legislation so that the House can go to conference with the Senate amnesty bill S744.

This is why it’s imperative that we keep Buck McKeon’s feet to the fire and join the group visit to his Valencia office on Thursday, April 10th at 11:00 AM.
I hope to see you there.

Sincerely,
Greg in LA
