Probably because there aren't enough people in this state who really care anymore. But I would sure as hell vote to recall him if I could.

I hope you plan to vote against any phony "immigration reform" candidate, Republican or Democrat. At least provided their opponents offer a different position, which is rarely the case these days.

“The promise the President made in 2008 is now so empty that people have forgotten he even made it,” Franco said. “Unless he actually uses his authority to provide real relief, he'll only be remembered as the Deporter-in-Chief.”

Actually, they are asking that the President of the United States act like a Mexican president who, at least until the time of Zedillo, was that of being a dictator, a sham of Democracy with the successor to the presidency decided long before the ritual of "the presentation" masquerading as an election campaign prior to fraudulent voting. The president picked members of the Mexican congress as well as state governors to also be fraudulently elected, and all made a cynical show of the president's will to be that of a democratic process.

This is the sort of corrupt thing which made life financially and otherwise difficult for the parents of "the undocumented" in Mexico, the mentality which includes the ingrained custom of bribery to either gain advantage or make problems go away.

Obama has overstretched his powers as a president concerning illegal immigration violating the constitution in the process. I do find it incongruous to his general style that he has at least made the admirable attempt, not taken by previous presidents, to seek out and deport those known to commit criminal acts beyond violating our national sovereignty.
