Man Claims to Be Illegal Immigrant to Avoid Facing Charge
SANTA ANA, Calif. — Border Patrol agents say a U.S. citizen claimed to be in the country illegally, possibly hoping to be deported instead of having to face an attempted murder charge in Southern California.
Agent David Jimarez says a man identified by Santa Ana police as 29-year-old Adolfo Aparicio was arrested Friday in Arizona in an area known for drugs and human smuggling.
Officials say the man misidentified himself and told authorities he was in the country illegally. A felony warrant had been issued for his arrest for the attempted homicide of his wife in Santa Ana.
Aparicio's true identity was discovered through a fingerprint check. Authorities say he will be extradited from Arizona to face charges in California.

The lack of non-hyphenated dual last Names is a dead giveaway.

What I find interesting is that by doing this it exposes what everyone has been saying and that those closest to the illegals already know. That being, illegals think they can, and do, get away with the crime by just claiming they're illegal. It happens so often, and just about everyone knows it, but La Razaists just keep claiming to be victims of this "evil racist country." So why is it that a legal citizen would prefer to be an illegal when it comes to facing a judge or the criminal system? Because illegals don't serve the time and are forgiven so much easier, all they need to do is cry racism and everyone comes running to their defense. We have so many here now that they can fool just about anybody and get by with it.

What was going through this guy's head when he was lying about his immigration status? And what did the authorities find out with his fngerprint check? ... that he was in the country legally? ... or that he was actually born here? But the guy must have something in mind when he said that he was here legally. If he was born here, I'll bet his parents were illegals. Maybe he actually thought he was an illegal. If he is an anchor baby, then yeah, he's here illegally. But of course, law enforcement does not observe that.
