Authorities nabbed 60 motorists suspected of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs in south Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol announced today.
The strike force operation occurred Friday and was carried out under the CHP's R.A.I.D. program, an acronym for Rapid Apprehension of Impaired Drivers. The project was funded by a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety.
