SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Two men are accused of stealing $120,000 intended for student scholarships while working for a charitable organization tied to their jobs as San Jose police officers.
Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney John Chase said San Jose police officer Marco Ybarra and former officer Manual Villagrana were both arrested Tuesday on suspicion of grand theft following a nine-month investigation.
