Obama Administration Allowing Mexican Police To Operate On US Soil; Wants To Apply Lessons Of Afghanistan To Mexico

“Mexican commandos have discreetly traveled to the United States, assembled at designated areasand dispatched helicopter missions back across the border aimed at suspected drug traffickers,” reports the New York Times. This is all part of what the Obama Administration is calling “boomerang operations” which are designed to get at Mexican drug traffickers through the back door. ”The cartels don’t expect Mexican police coming from the U.S.,” one senior military official told the Times.

Afghanistan….now Mexico

Clearly things are not going well in Mexico. “Although the operations remain rare, they are part of a broadening American campaign aimed at blunting the power of Mexican cartels that have built criminal networks spanning the world…”

The collaboration also means the United States is getting more deeply involved in Mexico. We are flying Predator and Global Hawk drones “deep over Mexico” to monitor drug cartel activity. And “the DEA has set up an intelligence outpost–staffed by Central Intelligence Agency operatives and retired American military personnel—to a Mexican military base.” At the same time, senior military officers at the Northern Command in Colorado Springs, are helping analyze intelligence on the cartels. These are officers who were heavily involved in U.S. military operations in Afghanistan.

“The military is trying to take what it did in Afghanistan and do the same in Mexico,” one officer told the Times. Yikes

That's funny. They don't have to worry about our own police up here. And they don't worry about their own police down there. Why would sending their police up here excite anyone's imagination?

Yeah, "Yikes". It's NATO that is in Afghanistan and what a rousing success that is turning out to be.

Hey! Maybe Mexico is going to join NATO. After all, Turkey is a member of NATO, Mexico is at least as fit to join NATO as Turkey right?

ROTFLMAO. No I guess not

We are sending retired US military to Mexico? What the heck does that mean?

It's probably to show that this administration can do what it wants
and to laugh in our American faces.

The cartels have snitches all over Mexico.

What this is doing is letting Mexican special ops travel like civilians to America, then quietly assemble and outfit in America. It provides for a surprise attack because the mission isn't compromised before it begins.

As I understand it, airborne assaults are launched from American military bases but Mexican military personnel don't carry out missions on American soil.

I'm not sure how this would be a parallel situation to Iraq, the comparison seems to me to be apples and oranges.

We have been conquered and are governed by an occupation government. The fact that Mexican Police are now being allowed to operate here is a sign of further progress of the consolidation of power. Inch by Inch. Click by click. The ratchet only goes one way and it's being tightened down on us.

I see illegal invaders in stores and they won't make eye contact with me.
Not even the men!

I don't think we have been conquered. We have been invaded. Mexican
police here? I have not seen one yet.

But we are being screwed and by our own government.

Give any thought to American military bases around the world, and what some citizens of those countries think of that?

Would it be a true sentiment that since Americans operate out of Ramstein AFB or that the US military Bases occupy 18% of Okinawa that the US controls Germany and Japan?

Further question to your apparent convictions: Do blacks around the world riot every time a Global Hawk mission conducts a surveillance flight for the DEA over Mexico?

Just who are these invaders of which you speak who won't make eye contact? Certainly they aren't the same ones outside the store who hoot, whistle, and yell suggestive stuff at everything walking upright which remotely looks female?

You don't see Mexican police in the US because they aren't here.

We are being screwed by our governments. If it weren't for City hall, the county seat and Washington you wouldn't see any illegals in America.

Illegal aliens, brought to you by the same people on the bilingual ballot who kiss your baby and blow smoke up your ass.
