Congressman Barney Frank, our featured speaker at the August 28th Truman Awards Dinner, took time to tell the New York Times that he is coming to California and will be talking with Orange County Democrats.

I'm not sure Boxer is actually coming. It says here she's being honored. It doesn't actually say she'll be accepting that honor in person. Not that this wouldn't be a good opportunity to take in a few opinions by actual democrats. But 5 days away might be tough to muster crew. This is right in Robin's back yard; Shouldn't we defer to her management on this?

Dude, I wasn't calling for action (on our part or anyone else's). I was just wondering if someone knows something about a protest or appearance that I don't.

You'll see several familiar border security advocacy faces in this vid. They were but a part of the "reception committee" that eagerly awaited the opportunity to greet Senator Boxer at her appearance just outside of Knott's Berry Farm, in Buena Park.
