A friend got an email from an eldery 80 years old. It said "Help me, I need help". She called the person since she sees or talks to them every week and the man just got out of the hospital.
It is the scam where you get an email saying how they are in London and have been beaten up and need you to send$$$$$$$$$$$$ right away. The person whose email was used has had their address book copied (my friends). Now that my friend opened the email, her email address book is comprised.
If you get an email from someone you know, call them and DO NOT OPEN ANY EMAIL ASKING FOR HELP.
