Beautiful Maroon Bells Peaks Mural For sale

To raise some much needed funds for the operation of Save Our State, we are offering this giant mountain mural for sale.

The mural is 14 feet wide x 12 feet tall, and is made from a fairly heavy canvass material. This was previously on display at a mountain climbing store in a mall. It has strong aluminum hangars attached to it for hanging. It appears to be double sided, and in excellent condition.
This might be ideal for someone living in the city that has one big wall of their house to hang it on, or a business that deals in outdoor gear.
It might also be good for a group meeting place like The Sierra club.

What we need is for each of our associates to find a venue to advertise this for us, and place a link to this ad on that venue.

We would like to see approximately $400.00 for it, but we are a charitable org, and will accept whatever high bid comes in.

A recent email we received advised us that this mural is of a popular spot for photographs called Maroon Bells Peaks


The Maroon Bells are two peaks in the Elk Mountains (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elk_Mountains_(Colorado)), Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak, separated by about a third of a mile. The mountain is on the border between Pitkin County (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitkin_County,_Colorado) and Gunnison County, Colorado (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunnison_County,_Colorado), United States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States), about 12 miles southwest of Aspen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspen,_Colorado). Both peaks are counted as fourteeners (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourteeners). Maroon Peak, at 14,156 feet, is the 27th highest peak in Colorado; North Maroon Peak, at 14,014 feet, is the 50th highest. The view of the Maroon Bells to the southwest from the Maroon Creek valley is one of the most famous scenes in Colorado, and is reputed to be the "most-photographed spot in Colorado" and one of Colorado's premier scenic overlooks.
A US Forest Service sign on the access trail refers to these mountains as "The Deadly Bells" and warns would-be climbers of "downsloping, loose, rotten and unstable" rock that "kills without warning". Unlike other mountains in the Rockies that are composed of granite and limestone, the Bells are composed of metamorphic sedimentary mudstone that has hardened into rock over millions of years. Mudstone is weak and fractures readily, giving rise to dangerously loose rock along almost any route. The mudstone is responsible for the Bells' distinctive maroon color. The Bells got their "deadly" name in 1965 when eight people died in five separate accidents.
Their proximity to Aspen makes the Maroon Bells an accessible tourist destination. Although motorized vehicle access is limited, bus tours operate throughout summer.[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maroon_Bells#cite_note-3)
