Nothing like having a candidate that wants to shake up city hall's special interest groups with a special interest group of his own

Guttierrez is the executive director of Chicano Consortium, and
president of the La Raza Sacramento Chapter. He’s also on CORE’s
steering committee and a member of a large number of social
justice groups, including the Dept. of Justice Hate Crime Task
Force, Latino Congreso, Sacramento Mentor Program and Rescue &
Restore Coalition (anti-human trafficking), among many others listed

A VERY BUSY MAN

How can he give effective time to any one with so many listed? How many are paid positions? How many of our tax dollars are going into his pocket already?

The link to his campaign site doesn't work for me.

Latino Congresso:

...The resulting 157 resolutions, created by Congreso delegates from over 500 organizations, encompass traditional issues such as educational reform and immigrant rights as well as issues of growing concern for Latinos nationwide- public health, urban greening, foreign policy, climate change and much more...

...The National Latino Congreso is convened by the Hispanic Federation (HF), League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), the Mexican American Political Association (MAPA), the National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities (NALACC), the National Day Labor Organizing Network (NDLON), the National Hispanic Environmental Council (NHEC), Southwest Voter Registration Education Project (SVREP), and the William C. Lots of Sacramento mentoring programs, tons of Gutierrez', and quite a few Efrens.

A Gutierrez quote:

Efren Gutierrez, representative of Chicano Consortium Sacramento explained his experiences with hate as a person of mixed race.

"I am Mestizo, half native[Mexican] and half European. The greatest tragedy is not being considered by your own people," Gutierrez said. http://www.sacramentopress.com/headline/17456/Stop_the_killing_save_Darfur

What's up, Efren - Mexican Nationals hate your American born ass too? There's no cure for pocho, no matter how much culo Mexicano you kiss.
